Hanuman Chalisa Parayana Maha Yajna at Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji led a devout crowd of over 6000 persons to chant Hanuman Chalisa composed in Tamil by Him. 

The event was organized by Gnana Bodha Sabha, Malaysia and was held in the sacred environs of Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Batu caves is well known for the shrine of Lord Muruga and Vel. 

The massive arrangements for 6000 persons to sit in rain free environment, food and amenities were arranged by volunteers in a organized manner. 

Pujya Sri Swamiji arrived at the venue at 6 PM and was led in a procession by Astana dancers sporting costumes of characters from Ramayana. 

As Pujya Sri Swamiji alighted the car, he was offered garland by members of Gnana Bodha Sabha.There was a large Pancha Mukha Hanuman that was prepared for this event. Sri Swamiji offered flowers and Arati to the new Pancha Mukha Hanuman. Sri Swamiji was then led to the Hanuman temple in the Batu caves area. There, Sri Swamiji offered Purnahuti of Hanuman Homa. There, Sri Swamiji took Darshana of Sindhura Hanuman in the Hanuman temple. 

Sri Swamiji then arrived at the sprawling stage erected for the event. The stage was decorated with Hanuman statue & Sri Ram Parivar statue on either sides. Sri Swamiji's seat was in the centre flanked by two dais for singers & musicians. 

The GBS committee members offered garland to Sri Swamiji. They honored three VIP guests attending the event. Sri Swamiji then performed Archana to Hanuman as 108 names were chanted. 

Sri Swamiji thence assumed the seat and led the massive crowd of 6000 members to chant Hanuman Chalisa 10 times. Malaysian Ashrama bhajan group accompanied Sri Swamiji on the stage. After 9 times of chanting, the Bhajan "Muruga Muruga" was sung as praise of the presiding deity iof Batu Caves - Muruga. Hanuman Chalisa was chanted once more and the chanting program concluded. 

Sri Swamiji was given Ponnadai by the dignitories. Logasundari, member of organizing committee offered Vadai Malai to Sri Swamiji to thank on behalf of the audience. 

Food Prasadam was served to all 6000 members. 

The efforts of the Hanuman Chalisa organizing committee preparing and teaching the Malaysian people with the Tamil Hanuman Chalisa over six months and the organization of this event evoked praises from devotees and general public alike. 

Sri Swamiji too praised the work of the GBS members & organizing committee members.
