Vajrotsava - 75 Birthday Celebrations of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji - 27 May 2017
Pujya Sri Swamiji took Darshana of Dattatreya and was brought in a procession to Nada Mantapa. Pujya Swamiji offered Gau Puja, Purnahuti. Sri Bala Swamiji and Sri.Mauvin Godinho, Minister of Panchayat Raj, Government of Goa gave away Datta Peetham charities to 75 needy persons.
Reports from Gnana Bodha Sabhas and Datta Yoga Centers were offered to Pujya Sri Swamiji. The annual activity report of Datta Peetham was released as a book.
In the Chaitanya Archana program, the following eminent persons were honored and awarded by Pujya Swamiji.

Later, Sri Swamiji released the following
1. A two volume Telugu book titled “Bhakta Mala” containing devotee experiences. It was translated from English to Telugu by Smt. Chennuri Bala Tripurasundari of Chennai.
2.“Tamil Bhagavadgita” book brought out by Smt.Sandhya Joshi of Chennai.
3. english book “Kumara Kriya Yoga” brought out by Datta Kriya Yoga International which contains basics of Kriya Yoga aimed at the young.
4. English Book “The Journey” by musician Sheetal Persad of Canada.
5. Kannada book “Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama” by S.Nagaraj of Mysuru.
6. Video disc “Sadguru’s mission with a Vision” which traces the social service activities of SGS Ashrama, Bengaluru
7. C.S.Radha Krishna to Swami Manasa Datta - inner journey - outer experiences as narrated by Swami Mansa Datta.
In the evening, Dr.L.Subramaniam offered a special tribute Audio CD titled “Datta Symphony” to Pujya Sri Swamiji. Datta Symphony is a special composition Dr.Subramaniam composed for a western orchestra. This was recorded in the famed Abbey Road studios in London by London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Gavin Sutherland. The Datta Symphony has famed playback singer Smt.Kavita Krishnamurthy Subramaniam singing Bhajans Jai Jai Ganapathy, Saptashvarudham & Shanti Rastu. It features SubraMania and The London Voices directed by Mr.Terry Edwards.
This CD was the first & historic effort to bring Pujya Swamiji’s Bhajans in Western Classical Philharmonic scale. Pujya Sri Swamiji spoke in appreciation and honoured Dr.L.Subramaniam. He spoke and thanked Sri Swamiji for blessing his life with music and peace. Smt.Bindu Subramaniam, daughter of Dr.L.Subramaniam who runs the music school SaPa in Bengaluru offered the book “Bhajans” as 75th birthday gift to Pujya Sri Swamiji. The book contains popular Bhajans of Sri Swamiji with western notations which will greatly help music teachers and children in the west to study and sing Bhajans in correct tune.
Later, Students of SaPa music school sang two Bhajans.
Ambi Subramaniam and Dr.L.Subramaniam gave individual violin concerts. . The dance tune of Sri Swamiji played by Dr.Subramaniam sent the capacity filled audience on an applause trip.
After the concert, Sri Swamiji released colour version of Mysuru Pathrike news paper which is in it’s 76th year of publication.
