Vajrotsava - 75 Birthday Celebrations of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji - 28 May 2017
Sri Bala Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja.
Pujya Sri Swamiji took Datta Darshana and arrived in Nada Mantapa in horse carriage procession.
Pujya Sri Swamiji ascended the Audumbara Simhasana. Devotees had the blessed opportunity to come to Pujya Swamiji, touch Datta Padukas and offer their respects & pranams.
In the evening Guru Gita chanting took place. Pujya Sri Swamiji was seated on the golden Audumbara Simhasana and all Shlokas of Guru Gita were chanted by thousands of devotees. To chant the Shlokas with Sadgurudeva in meditation was a deeply moving experience.
After the chanting, Sri Bala Swamiji spoke and profusely thanked Pujya Sri Swamiji for accepting the birthday festivities lovingly offered by devotees. He conveyed Pujya Swamiji’s Blessings to the dedicated Seva by Sri Datta Humane Services volunteers, and Gnana Bodha Sabhas and Datta Yoga Centers and Devotees who helped with the festivities and also conducted Anna Dana to over three hundreds thousand people in the eight days.
With these emotional remarks, curtain rolled down on eight days of blissful Vajrotsava celebrations.
On all the days breakfast, lunch & dinner Annadanam was performed for all visitors. Ashrama had arranged five marriage halls nearby for accommodating the visitors. Narahari Teertha Medical Mission trust conducted free medical camps on all days at SGS Hospital.
Daily Kriya Yoga training was held.
