45 feet Tall Subrahmanya Muruga statue consecrated in Nadupalani

Pujya Sri Swamiji installed a 45 feet tall Subrahmanya statue in Nadupalani Muruga Kshetra in Perunkarunai village, Tamil Nadu on 7th March 2018.
Pujya Swamiji arrived in the Kshetram at 7 AM. Upon arrival, Sri Bala Swamiji received Pujya Swamiji and they proceeded to inaugurate the new Gau Shala constructed in the premises. Sri Swamiji gave bananas to cows and calves.
Pujya Bala Swamiji had arrived in Nadupalani two days earlier and camped in Nadupalani guiding the organizers and priests conducting the rituals.
Pujya Sri Swamiji then proceeded to the feet of Subrahmanya statue and performed Yantra Pratishtha amidst Mantra chants in the sacred Meena Lagnam. Sacred Subrahmanya Swamy Padas (feet) in stone have been installed in a small shrine under the 45 feet tall Subrahmanya statue.
Later, Pujya Sri Swamiji arrived at the Marakata Subrahmanya Temple and offered Arati and prayers.
Sri Swamiji and Sri Bala Swamiji inaugurated a new water treatment plant set up by the Ashrama for drinking water use at the pilgrim center.
At 10 AM, Pujya Sri Swamiji offered Purnahuti of Laksha Subrahmanya Homam organized by devotees of Ganeshanjaneya Temple in Dilsukh Nagar, Hyderabad. This Homa was organized to commemorate of what is possibly the tallest Subrahmanya (Muruga) statue in India. Later, Pujya Sri Swamiji arrived at the program Dias. Sri Bala Swamiji conveyed Peetham honors on traditional temple architect, Sri.Venkateshwarlu from Machilipatnam who sculpted this beautiful 45 feet tall statue of Subrahmanya.
Others who assisted in this mega project were also honored. Local MLA and Mailavaram MLA conveyed their respects to Pujya Swamiji. Sri.K.V.Aiyappan offered a Vel & Dhwaja to Subrahmanya swami.
Pujya Bala Swamiji spoke about the history of Nadupalani and how Pujya Sri Swamiji guided him to Subrahmanya worship and led him to undertake this mammoth project of 45 feet tall Subrahmanya deity in Nadupalani. The statue is built on the northern slope of the main temple and faces north.
To mark this spiritual occasion, Dr.Shiva & medical team conducted mega medical camp in the Ashrama.
Pujya Sri Swamiji and Bala Swamiji proceeded to Pratishtha Yaga Shala and performed Purnahuti of Pratishtha rituals. Sri Bala Swamiji carried the Pradhana Kalasha (wain brass pot containing the consecrated holy water) and walked up hill to reach the Pada shrine. Pujya Sri Swamiji sprinkled the water on the Padukas.
Tens of thousands of devotees had assembled all around the vast area and were eager to watch Pujya Swamiji perform the Kumbhabhishekam.
Pujya Swamiji and Sri Bala Swamiji went up the 45 feet tall statue in a open steel platform hoisted by a crane. It was a wonderful sight to see the “Alagan” (beautiful) face of Muruga up close as the crane lifted Pujya Swamiji. Once the platform was aligned behind the statue by the skillful crane operator, Pujya Swamiji poured water from the Kalasha on the Subrahmanya Swami’s crown. Thunderous & frenetic cries of “Hara Om Hara” by tens of thousands of devotees reached the skies. Pujya Swamiji then bathed the huge statue first with milk and then with water and concluded with flower Abhishekam. The sweeping views of the surrounding region packed with devout was a sight to see.
Pujya Swamiji spoke from the top of the statue and called on people to be religious, righteous and devoted to God, family, community, nation and every living being on planet.
Then, Pujya Swamiji and Bala Swamiji were brought back to the feet of Subrahmanya Swami. Pujya Swamiji offered Arati and then embraced the statue and offered prayers.
Pujya Swamiji gave message to video channels and retired.
Annadanam was performed to the thousands of of devotees who participated in the divine programs.
Later, Sri Bala Swamiji spent two hours in Yaga Shala and blessed sacred Pratishtha Yaga Kalashas to devotees who helped the project and programs.
In the evening, Muruga Bhajans were sung by Sri Mani of Mysuru Ashrama. Chennai Bhajan Mandali & local devotees enthusiastically participated in the singing. Pujya Sri Swamiji went near the photo of Sri Muttuswami, founder of Nadupalani Kshetram and stood near looking at the photo. It felt as if Pujya Swamiji was narrating today's amazing events to Yogi Muttuswami.
The three days of programs were a grand success. This project was guided and taken forward by Pujya Bala Swamiji as per directions of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. This beautiful and tall statue of Subrahmanya is in a series of tall statues Pujya Sri Swamiji has installed world wide. The 85 feet tall Hanuman murti in Trinidad, West Indies, The 16 feet tall monolith Dattatreya in Ganagapura, the 45 feet tall monolith Hanuman in Mysuru Ashrama, and now the beautiful "Alagar" Subrahmanya in Nadupalani.
