Today is ninth day of Yaga (incliuding 13th - Kalasha Pratishtha day) On 9th day, devi energies pervade the Yaga area.
Devotees are also performing Shivalinga Abhishekam and chanting Shiva Panchakshari Maha Mantra. Today and tomorrow are important days. Navami and Dashami.
Swamiji has given you a mantra during Devi Bhagavatham. Do Parayana of that Mantra.
She equally participated in the creation, sustenance and destruction of this world. During Prakasa, Bala Mukunda will be floating on the seas on a leaf. Then, a giant light appears in the horizon. Kashi - the name also means effulgence. That light is Ma Bhagavathi. That Bhagavathi then utters Aim. Aim means Jnana. Devi then tells that she is the energy of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. From that energy came Parvati, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
On Navami day, she joined them as the Devi Swarupananda.
Humans in efforts to achieve Punya also perform some sins. Worshiping and praying to Lord Shiva with single minded devotion removes the sins. Shiva abhishekam, helping devotees earn merit.
