The Ashrama is located on the main road in Akividu. Akividu is known for its agricultural produce, mainly rice, of which it is one of the major exporters.
The Main temple is Sri Anagha Devi Sameta Vishwambara Avadhoota Dattatreya, consecrated on 03.11.1989 - the 10th Dattatreya temple among the Shodasha Datta Kshetras established by Pujya Sri Swamiji. Sri Maha Ganapati, Sri Subramanya Swamy, Prahlada, Kartaveerya Arjuna, Parasurama, Vishnu Datta and Alarka Maharaj - the great devotees of Lord Dattatreya are also consecrated in the temple complex.
Pujya Sri Swamiji established Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Gnana Bodha Satsanga Sabha Trust to conduct Charitable, Social and Cultural activities for the benefit of the general public.
The activities include -
1. Medical - Free Health check up camps are conducted by a team of specialists three times in a year. Consultation and medicines are given free of cost.
2. Annadana - Annadana is conducted on festivals such as Maha Shivaratri, Sri Swamiji's Birthday, Guru Poornima, Datta Jayanti, Dasara Festival etc. and also on Poornima (full-moon) day and Anghashthami day every month.
3. Help to the Poor and Needy - Clothes and food are being given to the poor and needy people on Narahari Teertha and Jayalakshmi Mata Aradhana Days every year. During floods and other natural calamities, food and clothes are distributed to the affected victims in their areas.
4. Social - Cool drinking water Chalivendram’ is organised during summer, in front of our Ashrama on the main road. This activity is very much beneficial to general public, especially during summer.
5. Cultural programs - Spiritual lectures, Divya Nama Sankeertana and music programs are organised and the talented personalities are honoured.
6. Poojas and Homas are being performed in the Ashrama.
7. Meditation and Kriya Yoga classes are organised.
