Jangareddy Gudem - (West Godavari District)
Jan 17, 2006

Jangareddy Gudem is small town in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Situated in the silent, semi arid region, this area is famous for Mango groves, cashew gardens. A devotee Smt. Rama Devi donated 2 acres of Mango Grove (on the highway to Hyderabad from Rajamundry) near this town. The Ashrama land is quiet and tranquil. Sri Swamiji felt that the area was fit for a place of penance. He permitted the donors to construct a small Cottage for Sri Swamiji.
Later addressing the massive gathering at School Grounds, Sri Swamiji urged people, especially housewives and ladies to stop gluing to Television Programs. Anything limited is good. Anything in excess would cause problems, He added. He has further cautioned, against the decrease of talent and thought due to excessive TV Serial Viewing by children.

En route to Rajamundry, He blessed few devotees at Koyyalagudem; Ankala gudem villages and at Gita Mandiram, Goshpada Kshetram in Kovvuru Town on the banks of Godavari River.
