SGS Ashrama - Madanapalli at Sandireddipalli village was inaugurated by Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji on 27 January 2017, adding the south western town of Andhra Pradesh in Chitturu District to the Datta Peetham Branch map.
The serene location amidst hillocks, coupled with cool and salubrious weather provides the perfect atmosphere for Ashrama.
Sri Swamiji fondly recalled the settings of Mysore Ashrama five decades ago. Donors of the site Sri Krishna Murty and his sister Smt Bhramaramba were pleased with the visit, which is happened close to a decade after the project was envisaged and land gift.
Katragadda Venkateswararao who led the development and propagation of Sri Swamiji's mission in the region was blessed. He was directed to take care of the Ashrama and stay there.
Later on Hanuman Chalisa Parayanam was conducted at BT College grounds of Madanapalli town. More than 10,000 students from different educational institutions joined devotees in the recital. Organisers led by Sri Srikant made perfect arrangements for the event.
With this event, the 30 day Datta Kshetra Yatra in Andhra Pradesh across 11 districts was successfully accomplished.
This completion stands as a testimony to the Sankalpa Siddhi of Sadguru Deva, belying the reservation about factors such as age, strain and hectic journey.
This tour also amply proves that it is the real Devotion of the devotees that moves the Sadguru rather than any other consideration; often overlooking personal inconveniences.
