Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji’s first ever Music for Meditation & Healing concert in New Zealand was held in Auckland on 4th February 2017
This historic program was organized by Datta Yoga Centre, New Zealand
The program was was titled “Sri Aditya Raga Sagara” (in view of the Sun festival - Ratha Saptami the previous day) was held in concert auditorium at Dorothy Winstone Centre in Auckland.

The two hour long concert was attended by about 700 persons. Members of Parliament, Mr.Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi & Mrs.Paramjeet Singh Parmar inaugurated the concert by lighting the lamp.
Sri.Nagaraj & Smt.Namrata offered welcome garland to His Holiness before the concert commenced.
Sri.Mallela Goverdhan offered commemorative souvenir book for release.
Smt.Shobha & Sri.Sonukumar offered bouquet to Sri Swamiji after the concert.
Sri.Pravin Patel offered a traditional Maori wooden flute to Pujya Swamiji as a souvenir. It is called as Porutu Nga Has E Wha. It was made by celebrated New Zealand artist Sri.Brian Flintoff.
Member of Parliament Sri.Bhakshi spoke at the end of the concert and expressed his happiness for Pujya Swamiji’s visit to New Zealand. He also expressed his admiration for Vid.Ramanujan’s Morsing play which astonished him as he saw a morsing play for the first time. Pujya Swamiji blessed Mr.Bakshi with a new Morsing instrument.
Smt.Priya Srinivasan emceed the event.
Before the concert commenced, a short video feature about Pujya Swamiji was screened in the hall.
During the concert, information of Raga name and it’s efficacy on ailment was shown on screen.
