Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji visited Hungary & Slovakia from the 2nd to 9th July 2018.
Pujya Sri Swamiji stayed on the banks of Danube river at Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
On 4th July, Wednesday, Pujya Sri Swamiji went on a Danube river cruise at night and appreciated the marvellous illumination of the national Parliament, monuments on castle hill and the famous bridges.
On 5th July, Thursday, Pujya Sri Swamiji visited the Budapest zoo which houses several different species of Birds and animals. Mr.Hanga Zoltan, Director of the Zoo received Sri Swamiji and showed around.
On Friday, 9th July, Pujya Sri Swamiji visited Visegrad and Esztergom town, former capital of Hungary.
Pujya Sri Swamiji crossed the bridge across Danube river and entered Slovakia country. Sri Swamiji walked back to Hungary later.
On 8th July, Pujya Sri Swamiji visited the national museum and admired the efforts of Hungarians to preserve the culture and history. In the evening, Pujya Swamiji witnessed a cultural show. Sri Swamiji appreciated the musical tradition of Hungary and the adept fiddlers who played several Hungarian folk songs and the amazing bird sounds conversation which two violinists imitated on their violin play.
On 9th July 2018, Pujya Sri Swamiji travelled from Budapest to Toronto via Amsterdam.
