New year 2020 commenced wth devotees performing Anagha Vratam in the serene Ashrama atmosphere at Jayadurga Teertham on banks of Krishna river in Vijayawada on 2nd January 2020.
Pujya Sri Swamiji offered Puja to Datta Padukas in the Mantapa in the waters of Krishnaveni river and offering Puja to the river.
Pujya Swamiji walked amidst the thousands of devotees devotionally offering the Puja in the main prayer hall. Sri Swamiji later performed Sri Chakra Puja and offered Purnahuti.
Devotees were rejoiced with the viist of Pujya Swamiji to this serene Ashrama after about five years.
The Ashrama members had made good arrangements even though the program was fixed just 48 hours earlier.
When Sri Swamiji announced in Vijayawada Ashrama on 31st December 2019 that performing Anagha Vrata on banks of sacred river, seaside, on hill and in sacred temples consecrated by Rishis will give 100 times count for the Koti Datta Anaghalakshmi Vrata started by Sri Swamiji for the year 2020, many devotees had requested Sri Swamiji to bless with Anagha Vrata on banks of Krishna river at Jayadurga Teertham Ashrama. Sri Swamiji had agreed.
Sri.V.Srinivas, Minister for Endowments department in Government of Andhra Pradesh and Mataji Shiva Chaitanya performed one Anagha Vrata at Jayuadurga Teertham.
Pujya Sri Swamiji spoke after 30,000 Anagha Vratam count was reached with 41 times Anagha Vrata performance at Jayadurga Teertham. He said:
It’s our previous life’s good Karma that we had the blessed opportunity to do Sri Datta Anagha Lakshmi Vrata
Sri Krishna has performed this Vrata
This Vrata fulfills many desires. It bestows Ashta Siddhis. Because the eight Soddhis are children of Datta and Anagha.
Even those who received Brahma Jnana performed this Vrata.
For Yateeshwaras, no Vratam need to be done. Except for Pranava Upasana, they don’t have any requirements. But even they respect this Vrata. Datta Darshana has a brief account of Pranava Upasana. Pingala Naga was an accomplished Yogi. He was a devotee of Datta.
Many people dream of Datta when they perform Anagha Vrata. You can easily memorize this Vrata.
There is a Bhajan Anaghamma Anaghayya which details this Vratam. I’m happy you all are doing this Vrata. This is the first time ever, Swamiji has witnessed mass Vrata performance on the banks of a river. Come here often and perform the Vratam.
Make it a habit to do 2-3 Vratams daily.
Come and attend the Ayata Anagha Vrata in Warangal next year.
Why not, we can have such large scale Vrata in Vijayawada also. Though the count of today’s Vrata will be 100 times for counting sake, you will get Vrata Bhagya of 32 times only.
Swamiji hoes to Uttara Tirupati tomorrow. That temple there is very antique type. It feels like it was constructed long ago during medieval times. This Is the first Vaikuntha Ekadashi for that temple. Try to fast on that day (6th January). If not, fast for half day. Strangely we feel more hungry on the day we wish to fast. Try to come to Indupuram (Nizamabad) for Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival on 6th January 2020.
If Swamiji comes all the way to Vijayawada, shouldn’t you come to Nizamabad ? All 16 Datta Kshetras established by Sri Swamiji should be visited. You will then understand a small glimpse of the efforts of Swamiji.
30,000 Anagha Vratams were performed today . 41 times Anagha Vratam was done .
Later at 5 PM, Sri Swamiji drove to Pancha Tattva Paduka Kshetram in Gannavaram for the night halt. Anaghavratam was performed there also.
On 4th, Pujya Sri Swamiji travelled - Vijayawada - Hyderabad - Kamareddy - Nizamabad.
