Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji visited Alaska from the 17th to 24th June 2023. Arriving in Seattle from Hyderabad - Dubai, Sri Swamiji rested for two days in Seattle. Sri Swamiji gave Darshana to devotees in the evening of the 15th June 2023. Devotees presented a birthday cake to His Holiness.
Arriving in Anchorage airport in the afternoon of 17th June from Seattle, Sri Swamiji was received by a small group of devotees from Canada.
This was the second visit of Pujya Sri Swamiji to Alaska. IN 1985 on July 2nd Pujya Sri Swamiji had visited Barrow town, the north most point of United States and taken bath in the freezing polar waters of Arctic Ocean.
On 18th June 2023, Sri Swamiji was taken in a private boat - Glacier Quest - to see the Blackstone glacier near the town of Whittier.
On 19th, Sri Swamiji visited the Alaska Native heritage Center near Anchorage. The museum explores the traditional and contemporary ways of Alaska’s Indigenous cultures.
On 20th Sri Swamiji visited the Alaska animal preservation center where many orphaned animals like grizzly bears, brown bears, moose, musk ox etc are there. Later Sri Swamiji went on the Alyeska aerial tram to the snowy reaches of the mountains.
On 21st, Pujya Sri Swamiji was taken in car from Anchorage to Denali National park.
On 22nd June, Pujya Sri Swamiji was taken in an airplane to show the Denali mountain range and the mighty Denali peak.
On 23rd, Pujya Sri Swamiji walked around the Savage river banks.
The sun never sets in Alaska during summer and Sri Swamiji waited till past midnight to have Surya Darshana midnight at 12 AM.
On 24th Sri Swamiji travelled Denali - Anchorage - Honolulu.
On 25th, Sri Swamiji visited Kailasa Nilaya and gave Darshana.
On 26th June evening Pujya Sri Swamiji travelled Honolulu - Dallas and arrived at 6 AM on 27th June 2023.
